Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for Multitasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) 2024 Examination. Through this competitive examination, SSC will select suitable candidates for various entry level posts in various government departments. Application for this SSC competitive exam can be made only by candidates who have passed class 10. Online application for SSC MTS exam will be accepted through the official website of SSC. Examination Centres in Assam: Dibrugarh (5102), Guwahati (Dispur) (5105), Jorhat (5107), Silchar (5111) and Tezpur (7994).
Age Limit for SSC MTS
The age limits for the posts as per the recruitment rules of various user departments are as follows:
For MTS 18 to 25 years (i.e. candidates born before 2nd August 1999 and on or after 1st August 2006).
Age 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born up to 2nd August 1997 and up to 1st August 2006) to apply for Havaldars in CBIC and CBN, Ministry of Revenue and some MTS posts in various departments.
