Candidates should note that the resumption of the online application process is aimed at filling up the recently released Level III (Technical) vacancies in the Tinsukia Medical College and Hospital. Applicants who previously applied in 2023 are not required to apply again.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam has published four separate notifications for the recruitment of Class III and IV posts around 2008. This recruitment has been announced to fill various vacancies in the medical colleges of Dhubri, Nagaon, Nalbari, Kokrajhar and Tinsukia. Eligible candidates and interested to work under DME, Assam can submit their applications online through the official web portal. 

DME Assam Recruitment Details

Name of the seats: Class-III and Class-IV

Number of positions: 2008 positions

Name of the Department: Directorate of Medical Education, Assam

Name of Government: Government of Assam

1. Class III (technical)

Number of positions: 1031 positions

Educational Qualification: The required qualification is different depending on the type of job, so I suggest you to check the official notification.

2. Class III (non-technical)

Number of positions: 320 positions

Educational Qualification: The required qualification is different depending on the type of job, so I suggest you to check the official notification.

Pay Scale: For this information, refer the official notification. 3. Class-IV

Number of positions: 657 positions

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 8th standard from a recognized institute.

Maximum Qualification: The maximum eligibility qualification should be HSSLC (Twelfth Class) or equivalent examination passed and those who have higher educational qualification than this maximum eligibility qualification on the date of application will not be eligible to apply for these positions.

Pay Scale: Rs.12,000/- to Rs.52,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/-

Other DME Recruitment Details

Reservation: The reservation of seats for the candidates will be done as per the current government rules.

Age Limit: Applicant's age should not be less than 18 years nor more than 40 years as on January 1, 2024. Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be as mentioned below.

Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India.

Job Exchange: Candidates must be registered in any job exchange office in Assam. 

How to apply for DME Assam Recruitment? Candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria required for DME recruitment can submit their application through the official web portal. Applications for recruitment from three medical colleges will be accepted through the online portal. Application modes other than the online portal will not be considered valid. So, all the eligible candidates should submit their application on the official web portal of DME, Assam.

Click on the online application link. An official web portal will load in your browser's new tab. In this portal you will have the opportunity to register. After registration, you must provide all the required details. After that, you need to upload your photo and signature. Once you have successfully completed all the steps, your application will be submitted. You will also receive a copy of your delivery confirmation. Keep this copy of the confirmation for future use.
