Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)
Number of vacancies: 181 positions
Salary Range: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- Grade Pay: ₹6,200/-.
Required Education: Completion of ANM Training from an Assam Government Institution or from a body acknowledged by the Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council, and must be registered with Assam Nursing Council along with Employment Exchange registration in Assam.
Staff Nurse
Number of vacancies: 446 positions
Salary Structure: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- Grade Pay: ₹6,800/-.
Educational Requirement: GNM Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) Degree from any Institute / Nursing College acknowledged by the Indian Nursing Council and must hold registration under the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council, along with Employment Exchange registration in Assam.
Staff Nurse (Critical Care)
Number of Positions: 292 vacancies
Salary Structure: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- Grade Pay: ₹6,800/-.
Educational Requirement:
a) GNM Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) Degree or higher from an institute / nursing college qualified by the Indian Nursing Council and must be registered with the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council, as well as hold valid Employment Exchange registration in Assam.
b) Candidates should have a minimum of one year working experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Additional Criteria for DHS Assam Recruitment
Age Restriction: The applicant's age must be no less than 18 years and no greater than 40 years as of 1st January 2024.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit adjustments according to categories are stated below -
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
ST/SC: 5 years
PwBD: 10 years
Employment Exchange Registration: Applicants are required to have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued by the State of Assam.
