Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: This scholarship is available to students who have completed class 12 or equivalent in a school in the North Eastern Region (NER) of a recognized board of education including Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Postgraduate Secondary Education (ICSE) and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
Admission to Bachelor's Degree Programme: This scholarship is available only to students pursuing a recognised Bachelor's degree programme as determined by UGC and notified from time to time. Only students who have already been admitted to the first year of a Bachelor's degree programme in a recognised university, college or institution in India can apply.
How do I apply for Ishan Uday Scholarship? Starting from the 2024-25 academic year, the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has introduced a One-Time Registration Process (OTR) for students. As a result, the process of submitting an online application for the Ishan Uday Scholarship has been revised and divided into two major phases. In the first phase, students will have to complete a One-Time Registration (OTR). In the second phase, students will submit their scholarship application using their OTR ID.
