Eligibility Requirements: To qualify, students need to have completed at least 24 credits in the particular field they wish to study for their Master’s degree. This requirement holds true regardless of whether their undergraduate education was in a Major/Honours program or a Standard Course.

Application Charge: The fee required to apply for Gauhati University's PGET differs based on how many programs you apply for: Rs.1000 for a single program, Rs.1500 for two programs, and Rs.2000 for three PG programs.

How to Submit an Application for GU Postgraduate Admission?

The process for applying starts by setting up an account or signing up on the portal. After the registration is completed successfully, applicants must log in using their new credentials.

After logging in, candidates will need to complete the application form presented, which includes their personal information and educational background. They will also have to upload scanned images of a current passport-sized photo, their signature, and any other necessary documents as specified by the portal. The final step is to pay the application fee. Once the payment is confirmed, the application will be submitted, and a receipt will be issued.
