MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 - Educational Requirements
Broad Specialty – A Postgraduate degree such as MD, MS, DNB, or MDS in the relevant field from an institution affiliated with any Indian University that is accredited by the National Medical Commission (formerly MCI), National Board of Education (NBE), or the Dental Council of India.
Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, FSM, Medicine, Microbiology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Social and Preventive Medicine, Tuberculosis and Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), and Nuclear Medicine.
A Postgraduate degree in MS (Anatomy) or MSc (Medical Anatomy) along with a PhD in Medical Anatomy is required for the Anatomy Department.
A Postgraduate degree in MD (Biochemistry) or MSc (Medical Biochemistry) along with a PhD in Medical Biochemistry is required for the Biochemistry Department.
A Postgraduate degree in MD (Physiology) or MSc (Medical Physiology) along with a PhD in Medical Physiology is required for the Physiology Department.
Super Specialty – A Postgraduate degree in MD/DNB in General Medicine is required for Medical Super Specialty (Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Neuro Surgery, Medical Oncology).
A Postgraduate degree in MS/DNB in General Surgery is required for Surgical Super Specialty (Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Urology, Paediatric Surgery).
Candidates holding DM, M.Ch., or DNB in the relevant super specialty area will receive preference or additional weight in the selection process.
MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 - Salary Structure
Monthly compensation ranges from Rs.57,700 to Rs.1,82,400, corresponding to Academic level 10, along with additional permissible allowances as per regulations.
MHRB Assam Recruitment 2025 Age Requirements
The minimum age allowed is 21 years.
The upper age limit is set at 45 years.
Age concessions are provided as stipulated by the rules.
