Assam Transport Department Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. Residence:

(i) Applicant must be permanent resident of Assam. (ii) Applicant must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes / Labor Exchange Registration Certificate will be considered as proof of residency.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a degree in Arts / Science or Commerce from a University recognized by the Government of Assam or H.S.S.L.C. with a 3 (three) year degree in automotive or mechanical engineering from an institute recognized by the Government of Assam / Government of India and also duly recognized by AICTE. 

Age Limit: Candidates must not be below 21 years or above 38 years on 01/01/2024.

Age Relaxation: The category of age relaxation is mentioned below.

SC/ST: For 5 years. OBC/MOBC: From 3 years.
