Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released an official notification regarding the selection test for the upcoming Navodaya admission 2025-26 for Class VI. Students who wish to complete their studies at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) have to submit an online application for the selection test, known as JNVST. District: Only candidates from the respective district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is open are eligible to apply for admission.
Age Limit: A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 1st May 2013 and after 31st July 2015 (both dates included). This will be applicable to candidates in all categories.
Current studies: A candidate appearing for the selection test must be studying in class V for the entire academic session 2024-2025 in a government/government school or other recognized school or a "B" certificate course from the National Institute Open School in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
Previous Admission: An applicant who has not been promoted and admitted to Grade V before July 31, 2024 is not eligible to apply. Attempt Limit: No candidate is eligible to appear in the selection test for the second time under any circumstances.
How to apply for Assam Navodaya Admission?
Eligible students as per the official notification issued by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti can apply for admission in various Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country and also for Assam. A step by step online application guide is provided to help our esteemed users.
Scroll down and check the Important links section. Click on the online application link. Now an official web portal will be loaded in the new tab of your browser. Check the box Have you read the prospectus? and click Continue. A form will be uploaded, fill all the required details carefully. After that, you will need to collect your documents. Now click Save and Preview. After that, you will receive a preview of your request. Now click on the Submit your application button. In addition, you will receive a confirmation of receipt of your delivery. Keep this copy of the confirmation for future use.
