NMMS Scholarship 2024
The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has released the official notification of the centrally sponsored scheme “National Merit and Merit Scholarship (NMMS)” for the financial year 2024-25. NMMS scholarships are awarded to talented or deserving students studying as regular students in class IX, 50,000/- per year.

Eligibility criteria for NMMS scholarship
The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the NMMS scholarship are mentioned below
Class: Class VIII students studying in Government, Local Government and Government Aid are only eligible.
Notes:
A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent marks in class VII examination is required to appear for NMMS examination (5% less for SC/ST students)
Winners should secure a minimum of 55% marks in Class IX and XI and 60% in Class X for continuation of the scholarship (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) in subsequent higher classes.
Family Income: Scholarships are awarded to talented or deserving students whose parents' income does not exceed Rs 3,50,000 per year.
