Job Name: Job Exchange Online Registration
Name of the Department: Department of Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Assam
Eligibility: All Indian citizens above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their name in the Assam State Employment Exchange.
District: Candidates are eligible to register in only one scholarship in the state where they are permanent residents in the jurisdiction of the district.
How do I complete the registration for the online exchange?
Candidates who want to generate employment exchange registration certificate online should apply on the official portal of Government of Assam.
The online process to generate a Employment exchange registration certificate began on September 27, 2021. In this process, there are two ways to complete the verification of applicants.
These two verification methods are AADHAAR based verification and non AADHAAR based verification. Candidates must submit their applications online based on these two verification methods. Both verification methods are briefly described below. AADHAAR based verification
Candidates opting for this AADHAAR based verification method need not visit any office to complete the job exchange registration process as authentication will be done using their AADHAAR information. This method is quite easy and simple, the only drawback is that the applicant must have a valid AADHAAR to complete the online process.

Click the exchange card registration link. The official application portal will be loaded in the new tab. Complete the registration process with your mobile number. Now login to the portal by providing your username and password. Select Register for Employment Exchange (AADHAAR based) option. Now fill in all the necessary and requested information. Upload the required documents in the required format and file size. After that, you will have the opportunity to download the electronic certificate of registration in the employment exchange.
Non AADHAAR based verification
Candidates opting for AADHAAR based verification have to visit the employment office for verification of their documents. Candidates must select the desired job office, the date and time of verification. Candidates must visit their chosen job office on the day of their appointment and complete the process to receive the registration certificate. The online application process for non-AADHAAR based verification will be as follows.

Click on the exchange card registration link. The official application portal will be loaded in the new tab. Complete the registration process with your mobile number. Now, login to the portal by providing your user ID and password. Choose the Register for Employment Exchange (Non AADHAAR Based) option. Choose the date and time for document verification. Go to the exchange office for document verification. Follow the instructions and the necessary process. Get the employment exchange registration certificate.
