SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2024 – Apply Online for PETSCERT D.El.Ed Admission 2024The Assam State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the official notification for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course for the academic year 2024-2026. Interested and eligible candidates will first need to apply online for the Pre-Entrance Test (PET) – 2024 to be admitted to this course.
The course will be conducted in NCTE recognised Teacher Training Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal Schools/BTC/Private TEls) across the state for the academic year 2024-2026.

Qualification Details
Residence Permit: Only candidates who are permanent residents of the state of Assam can apply for this course.
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (+2) or equivalent examination by a recognized Examination Board/Council with at least 50% of the aggregate marks excluding marks in additional/optional subjects/fourth subject.
For candidates from SC/ST/ST(H) category, a concession of 5% on the aggregate marks will be given.
Age Details
Age Limit: Applicants should not be below 18 years or above 34 years as on 1 July 2024. Candidates from SC, ST(P) and ST(H) categories will have a grace period of two years.
Seat Reservation: Reservation of seats for reserved category candidates including OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD will be made as per the existing Government norms.
Fees Details
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.600.00 (Six Hundred Rupees Only) as application fee for all categories online.
The fee can be paid through internet banking, credit card, debit card or wallet.

Admit Card: Candidates can download their SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card from 1st September 2024 on the website
https://www.scertassam.co.in/ by entering their application number and date of birth.
It was generated while submitting the application online.Prelims Examination (PET) Venues: Prelims Examination (PET) Venues for 2024 will be allotted to the ‘District’ selected by the candidates at the time of submission of the online application form and will be mentioned on the candidates’ Admit Card.
Selected candidates will be allotted a seat in the Teacher Training Institute (TEI) of the ‘District’ where they wish to appear for the Prelims Test (PET) 2024.
