1st Junior Engineering Assistant
No. of Posts: 379
Educational Qualification:
Production: 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Petrochemical/Chemical Engineering/Refining and Petrochemical Engineering or 3 years. B.Sc. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized institute/university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in case of General, EWS and OBC candidates and at least 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates on reserve.
P&U: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or matrix with a minimum of 2 years ITI (Fitter) or a degree from a recognized institute/university (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) along with B.Sc.
2nd Class Boiler Certification (BCC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate as Boiler Attendant under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (duly verified equivalence to 2nd Class) from the concerned boiler authority of the state of the refinery unit in which the candidate is applying.
P&U-O&M: Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized institute/university with minimum 50% aggregate marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates and minimum 45% for SC/ST candidates for reserved positions.
Electrical Engineering: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized institute/university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates reserved/identified for PwBD positions vs.
Mechanical Engineering: Passed 3 years Diploma class in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute/university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates reserved/identified for PwBD vs. ITI positions in Locksmith profession or Matric of at least 2 years duration.
Instrumentation: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation and Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineering/Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from recognized institutes/universities with 50% marks in aggregate or more for General, EWS and OBC candidates and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved/selected PwBD positions.
Fire & Security: Matric plus NCO course from NFSC-Nagpur or equivalent course (regular course of minimum 6 months duration) from any other recognized institute with valid heavy vehicle driving licence.
2. Junior Quality Control Analyst

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics with at least 50% of aggregate marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved/selected PwBD posts.

Educational Qualification: Three year full time Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from a Govt. recognized institution.
4. Technical Assistant

Educational Qualification: Matric / 10th Class and ITI Degree from a Government recognized institute in the specified field of ITI trade and certificate showing marks for all semesters/years of ITI degree from a Government recognized institute/Board having the duration as given below and Professional Qualification Certificate/National Professional Qualification Certificate.
Other Criteria for IOCL Recruitment
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum age 26 years for non-reserved candidates as on 31st July 2024.
Age Preference:
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years
